Finance
A single point of contact to ensure support is implemented. A £500 ‘estranged students’ bursary in each year of study. Priority consideration for the Discretionary Fund. Eligible to apply to the University of Stirling Rental Guarantor Scheme. No graduation fees and assistance with costs for graduation gown hire.
Accommodation
365 day guaranteed accommodation in UoS Accommodation. In addition, estranged students are eligible to apply to the University Accommodation Enhancement Fund to receive up to £1,000 off their annual accommodation costs. Estranged students will receive priority consideration when applying to this fund.
Mental Health
UoS operates a counselling and emotional wellbeing on campus. Our dedicated Mental Health and Counselling teams offer a range of assistance services which includes One at a Time Therapy, personal Mental Health Mentors, Stress Control sessions, and Community Wellbeing groups.
Outreach
A single point of contact for pre- enrolled estranged students. Comprehensive pre-application and transition support. This includes help to choose a course, to find the right route into university and how to write a personal statement.
