Finance
Sussex has developed a bursary specifically for students who have also been assessed by Student Finance as estranged. This bursary is in addition to our First-Generation Scholars Scheme.
Accommodation
Sussex aims to provide of 52 weeks per year accommodation, at the current rate, for estranged students as well as eligibility to apply for the University rent guarantor scheme.
Mental Health
Sussex is committed to providing counselling for estranged students studying at the university as well as access to a dedicated Student Life Advisor.
Outreach
Sussex provides a dedicated Widening Participation Officer who provides bespoke guidance for estranged students pre entry as well as a contextualised admissions on application to the university.
