Finance
A bursary of £1,000 per academic year and start-up/graduation payments of £1,000 to assist with the transition into and out of University. One of the priority groups for the Bath Bursary or Gold Scholarship. Priority for the University Hardship Fund. Specialist advice & guidance on applying for government funding and budgeting.
Accommodation
Access to live in UoB student accommodation for 365 days a year for the duration of their course. Access to the University's guarantor scheme and specialist housing advice from the Accommodation team and Students' Union.
Mental Health
Access to the University's Wellbeing Advice Service which operates 365 days a year, as well as referral to the Counselling & Mental Health team by Wellbeing or their key contact.
Outreach
A named member of staff in Student Services who will be a point of contact from pre-entry and throughout their course and will facilitate referral to other specialist teams across the University and external organisations. An allocated Peer Mentor to help with transition into university. A dedicated webpage with useful links and contact information.
